D.D.S.

Dr. Antoinette Cancelada graduated from the University of the Health Science Center, School of Dentistry, San Antonio (UTHSC-SA), Texas. Her diverse accomplishments over a 25-year career include private practice, a Red Cross volunteer for the Army as a military spouse, and academia as an Associate Clinical Professor for the Department of Occlusion and Restorative Dentistry at UTHSC-SA. More recently, Dr. Cancelada completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry in 2012. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Topeka Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry and remains current with the latest dental advances. She continues to provide public service as a volunteer dentist at the annual Kansas Mission of Mercy (K-MOM). Dr. Cancelada's professional goal is to continue to provide dental health and education to rural Kansas communities.

Dr. Michael Weber, a Topeka native, graduated from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, with a BS in Biology and Medical Technology. He then graduated from the University of Missouri with distinction and received a DDS degree followed by Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. Dr. Weber had practiced dentistry in Topeka for the last 30 years before recently passing the practice on to his son. Dr. Weber and his wife Julie have three children and six grandchildren, all in the Topeka area, who keep them very busy. In their spare time they run a farming business, which includes hay and cattle production. Dr. Weber also enjoys racquetball, golf, and playing guitar with a couple local bands.

Office Manager

Kim is the Office Manager at Flint Hills Dental. She received her BA in English from the University of Pittsburgh and taught English at St. Mary's Academy for 12 years before entering the dental field in 2018. Due to her background in teaching and communication, she enjoys interacting with patients. Her hobbies include playing tennis and traveling.

Office Assistant/Insurance coordinator

Jayme works at the front desk as an office assistant at Flint Hills Dental. Jayme has an Accounting diploma from Manhattan Area Technical College. She has lived in Onaga, KS for the past 17 years. Due to her past employment, she enjoys interacting with patients. She has 3 beautiful children that keep her busy with all of their activities. She enjoys Friday night lights watching her son play football, her youngest daughter cheering on the sidelines as a cheerleader and then going across the state to watch her oldest daughter play softball for college. In her freetime she enjoys working outside, bbqing or sitting around the fire pit with friends and family.

Shannell has been in the dental field for over 27 years, starting her career as a dental assistant in Wisconsin. With the encouragement of the dentist she was working for and her love for the dental field she went on to graduate from Madison Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin in 1999 with an Associate’s Degree in dental hygiene and certification for the administration of local anesthesia. In 2009 her and her family moved to Kansas where she attended Manhattan Area Technical College to receive her Kansas licensure. In her free time Shannell stays busy helping with the family plumbing business and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Dental Assistant

Erin has been in the dental field for three years and is a highly trained certified dental assistant earning her technical degree in dental assisting at Salina Area Technical College. She has also received her associate’s degree in healthcare management from Rasmussen University. She stays current by continuing her dental education classes, a commitment she takes seriously to help patients maintain their dental health. In her free time, Erin enjoys gardening, playing with her dogs Zeus and Apollo, and spending time with her husband in Topeka, Kansas.

Dental Assistant

Martha is working as a dental assistant at Flint Hills Dental and planning on going to college for dental hygiene within the next few years. In her spare time, Martha enjoys taking walks, reading, sketching, and spending time with family and friends.
